How To Shift Your Perspective To Manage Life’s Challenges
Whether you’ve intentionally pushed yourself outside your comfort zone (see last week’s Show) or have been thrown one of life’s big curveballs, sometimes we all get stuck. I want to offer you an alternative approach for how to keep perspective when things get tough – something that not only helped me on my solo Atlantic row but now frequently rescues me when I feel overwhelmed by or despondent about something that is going on in my work or personal life.
This week’s Choose Your Attitude Show is for you if:
- You have bravely stepped outside your comfort zone but now the discomfort is really kicking in and you’re thinking ‘I don’t want to do this any more.’
- A totally unexpected life challenge has thrown you off course and you don’t know how you’re going to cope
- You feel trapped in negativity and can’t find your way out.
This perspective shift is good for everyone – you feel more in control, your team or family get the best of you and even your clients feel the benefit of a person who is approaching challenge with the right attitude.
Check out the video and let me know if the ‘How Bad Is It?’ Scale works for you.
Bestest,
Debra

Thanks so much.
My 10 right now is. that I don’t get this business going, I am doing such a bad job at sales it is hard for me to see beyond that. I know that doesn’t really warrant a 10 but it is so hard for me to see beyond that one issue
