This week we’re honing in on Step 3 of the Busy Person’s Health & Fitness Blueprint: Get a coach! This might feel completely alien to you: aren’t coaches just for elite athletes or people with a lot of time on their hands? My answer is a resounding NO! Especially now online coaches have become such a thing.  A coach will motivate you, save you time and get you mentally and physically ready for your event, leaving you to focus on enjoying the journey.

My guest star this week is my husband Tim, who just achieved his personal best in the London Marathon, having turned 50 last year! Tim shares why he’s convinced that his running coach (who he has never met!) was the critical factor in his success. We discuss:

  • How to find the right coach for you
  • How much it will cost you (hint: it’s not as much as you might think)
  • What a coach can bring to the table, even if you are already very knowledgeable about your sport
  • Why technology makes coaching easier, cheaper and more effective than ever.

What’s stopping you? Why not take the first step and ask a friend for a recommendation or do a Google search today?

Have a great week and don’t forget to Choose Your Attitude – after all, it’s the one thing we have a choice about.
